This city will soon be placed under the Municipal Corporation Act, and it will nofc, therefore, surprise our readers to learn that a good many people are bestirring themselves on the question of our future representation under the coming form of Government. It has been thought ■■"-. '* that the beat method of making a fair start would bo to have an entirely fresli election of members of the Corporation, and with this view the following requisition it ii\ course of almost universal signature throughthe electoral wards : — "To the Chairman and Members of the City Board of Commissioners, Auckland. " Gentlemen, —We, the undersigned rate- . payers of the City of Auckland, request that r .
