RE-OPENING OF THE PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.
This favourite place of amusement will again op_n on Saturday evening, under the direction of Mr. B. N. Jones, who has orgaxised a most effective and complete caupany, consisting of several artists—veil known Auckland favorites. We understand that Saturday will be the preliminiry opening, with a new play entitled " Friends or Foes, " and that Monday is to be the first fashionable reunion, vhen the great French play of " Frou Trou," now so popular in Europe, will, in ill its completeness, be produced. To ensue a success for this play the company have been rehearsing it during the lasi month at the Thames. The theatre has been entirely re-dennr»*Arf and thoiDughly cleaned; the dress-circle renovatel and thrown open; cloak rooms and atteidants—every necessary preparation for the comfort of its patrons, ana we confidently predict a successful season for the eiterprising impresario.
