Sales of flour at £14 to £14 10s. Wheat 6s, and oats firm at.3s7d to 3s 8d ; not much of the latter offering. Maize is wanted at 4s 9d to is lOd. Flax is quoted at £16 to £21, without buyers.—New Zealand wheat 5.3. 6d. to ss. 7d. —Macklin, the brewer, has been remanded on three different charges of forgery. The first time bail was accepted in two recognisances for £50 each, but he was subsebuently re-arrested, and bail fixed at £1000 eaeli.-Mr. Wrixon, the SolicitorGeneral, and Mr. Hannah, have been returned unopposed. For the remaining thirtyfive seats I' 2 candidates have been nominated .
