IMPORTATION OF HARES.

T__fE ship Caduceus, which arrived in harbor this morning, has been successful in landing here, for the Acclimatization Society, five hares out of six shipped at London. One died a few days since. She also brings one hundred and twentyfive yellow-hammers, in good condition. The total number shipped was two hundred and fifty, The Caduceus has on board three steam launches for New Zealand. One is consigned to Mr. Watt, Napier; one to Captain Ho watt, a passenger, and intended for the Waikato river; and the third is consigned to order. We believe it will be employed in our harbor.
