ARRIVAL OP THE WARRIOR QUEEN.
DUNEDIX. February 25.—The Warrior Queen hai arrived at ihe Heads from London.—The case of Regina t. Barton is proceeding. The greater portion of the day has b«en occupied in endeavoring to ascertain the authorship of the articles in the Times. The witnesses all declined to answer and refused to produce the' original manuscript; ultimately the subeditor and readers admitted that the articles wer£ Barton's. The prosecution thea closed. Macassey admitted the authorship by1 Barton. Hay was the first witness examined far the defence, and the case was then adjourned until Monday.—The Storm Bird has been ordered round to Bligh Sound to bring on tlie Governor.—The Olid will be docked and re--1 fitted at Port Chalmers.
