Tbe Waugarei Begatta has been postponed till Monday the 6th proximo. The annnal public tea-meeting of the Auckland Sunday School Union will be held ia the Rooms of the Young Men's Christian Asiociation, this evening'; tea on the table at 6.30 p.m. The annurl meeting of the Eureka Q-old Mining Company will be held th's evening at the Greyhound Hotel, at7o'clock. In consequence of the unfavourable ■weather the prise filing for the second district isige;n I ostponed to the following dates : F'i-s! set, Saturday 25th insfc., at 9 a.m., second set Monday 27th iust., at 9 a.m.
