The Nonpareil will clean xip tomorrow.. Fully 1,000 ozs. is expected. The reef is looking well.
Another parcel of rich specimens
have come out of the Una this morning. Shares have advanced, and are selling at 11s. and 12s. Large fires are still raging on the Moanataiai-i and Waiotahi, and several miners have been, burnt out. Some dozen or more whares have been burnt. A large tree fell this morning, smashing the United Service battery. The sharemarket is not so brisk today. Caledonians have sold at £50, and Thames at £10 10s. Eed Queens are moderately firm at ss. . Nonpareils have sold at £I<, and "Waite-
matas at 22s
