EXPORTS.
Per schooner Clyde, for Fijis : 10 cases preserved meats, 37 tins biscuits, 12 oars, 12 coils rope, 2 boxes soap, 5000 shingles, and 2335 pieces timber, J. S. Macfarlane and Co. (agents).
The s.s. Go-Ahead arrived in harbour this morning, from Bay of Islands, with ten passengers, and the following cargo : —24 tons (slack) coals, Bay of Islands Coal Company.— S. H. Smith, agent. The mail steamer City of Melboui'ne was passed off the North Cape by the Bengal, on Tuesday last at 4 p.m. The schooner Prince Alfred, from Gilberd Island, with 120 natives for Tahiti called at Borotonga. About the 12th of January, on her return from Tahiti, she was to call at Rorotonga to take in fruit for Auckland. The schooner Aurora brings a full cargo of fruit from Rorotona in first class order. The s.s. Star of the South came off the slip at the North Shore last evening, and was towed over to the wharf by the p.s. Enterprise. She will leave for Napier on Tuesday next, at noon. The s.s. Taranaki is expected in the Manukau to-morrow from Southern Ports. The s.s. Hero may be expected on Monday from Sydney.
