DUKE DIN

February 15.—The ship Bobert Henderson has sailed for London, with a cargo of 3400 bales wool ; the ship Otago, with 400 bales wool and 1000 cases preserved meat; and the ship Chile, with 31*70 bales wool.— —The Canterbury Government have purchased Thomson's road steamer, lately imported from London. —In the Supreme Court, to-day, information for conspiracy against Messrs. Driver and Macandrew, was applied for by Mr. McLeod, secretary to Mr. Reid's committee, but at the suggestion of the Judge, the application was postponed until the elections are concluded. —A child named Best has been accidentally scalded to death at the vVairara.
