LADYBIRD RETURNS.
The Caledonian have already lodged 4,777 ozs. in the bank. The return will exceed 6,000 ozs. for the week. There is an increased demand here this morning for Nonpareils, and small parcels have changed hands at £4 ss. to £4 10s. Belfast are rather dull, and have been sold at 17s. and 18s. Tookey's are enquired for. Parcels have changed hands at £5 10s. and £6. The Lady Bird, Tararu, have cleaned up, the result being 86 ounces for the fortnight. "Waitematas selling at 18s. to 20s.
