IMPORTS.
Per schooner Golden Isle, from Levuua : — 28 tons cotton seed, J. Roborton ; 50 bags maize, J. S. Mncfarlane. —J. Roberton, ngent.
The schooner Golden Isle arrived in harbour this morning from Fiji, via Bay of Islands. She arrived at Levuka on the loth January, and left again on the 28th. Made Cape Brelt on the 10th inst.; and had to put into Russell on the 11th, through stress of weather, a heavy E.S.E. gale blowing. Left again on the 13th, and had light airs down the coast. Passengers : —Capt. Lombard, Capt. Morgan, Mr. Summers. The schooner Onward, and cutter Gazelle arrived this morning from the Bay of Islands with coal. The steamer Samsou will leave the harbour on Saturday, at 3 p.m., conveying oxcurtionists to the Wangarei Regatta, and returning on Monday. The Star of the South will leave for Napier on Monday nest. She was yesterday taken on the slip at the North Shore for an overhaul.
