The bnrque Bengal was to sail from Adelaide on the 25th ultimo, for this port, with a cargo of wheat for Messrs. Thornton, Smith, ar.d Firth.

'I he schooner Kenilworth took her departure for Mercury Bay this morning. The schf oner Onwnrd left Russell, for this port, on Monday, witli 100 tons coals. The whaling barque Eliza has arrived at Russell with GOO barrels spei'm.

The following vessels have arrived at Russell, from Auckland: — I eonidas, Waterlily, and Nautilus. Eleven vessels arrived at Russell, from the Thames, from the Bth to the 13th inst.

The cutter Gazelle left Russall, for Auckland, on Tuesday, with 32 tons coals, and 6 bundles skins.

The schooner Amateur was loading at Lyttelton for this port on the 9th inst., and may be expected here in a few days. The schooner Flirt is also loading grain for this port.

AqvxTics. —We understand that on next Saturday afternoon several boat races will come off betwoeu members of the Auckland Rowing Club. Arrangements have been made for a sculling match in outriggers by Messrs. Proro and Fletcher ; and for a pnir-oared out-rigger race by Messrs. Manning ami Russell, and Me3srs. Provo and Alkyns.
