Britomirt There was a very good attendance of« rankß, fully one hundred memberi being present. Of this number there were about sixty Narals aud forty Artillery, without JJe bands. The men were put iktouth W usual exercises, which were creditably, p«' formed. Majors Gordon and TucWl *e» present, and the former addressed the men it some length, impressing upon thtm to*,!* cessity of a strict attention to drill. .A »•«• ing of the Artillery was then held, at mm Battery Sergeant Powley was elected lieutenant without opposition.
