The practise of the Choral Society will be held to-morrow evening, in the District Court-house,- Parliament-street.
Tenders will be received up to 4 o'clock on Thursday, the 23rd. inst,, for erecting the New Music-Hall, Svmonds-street.
Mr. W. Edwards notifies that ho accepts Mr. J. Spenee's challenge to walk four miles, for the -urn of £50 a-side, and the championship of New Zealand.
The barque Farningham, a vessel of 500 tons burthen, was to leave Sydney for New York, via Auckland, about the 10th inst.
