Mails will close as under :— For Thames, this day, at 4 and 5.30 p.m., and to-morrow, at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., and 5.30 p.m. For Tauranga, via Thames, this day, at 4 p.m., and to-morrow, at 4 p.m. For Whitiaugi, per Mary Ellen, this day, at 5 p.m. For Russell, Kawakawa, &c, per Coinerang, to-morrow, at 3 p.m. For Wangarei, &c, per Samson, on Saturday, 11th instant, at 5 p.m. For Taranaki and the Southern Provinces, per Phoebe, on Monday, 13th instant at 10 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Nelson Station will be received at this office till 10.30 a.m., and at One/'innga till 11.30 a.m. For Kapanga, Driving Creek, and Tiki, per Lalla Rookh, on Tuesday, 14th instant, at 7.30 a.m. For Taranaki and the Southern Provinces, per Airedale, immediately after the arrival of the City of Melbourne from Honolulu. For Sydney and the Australian Colonies, India, China, Mauritius,' Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, via Suez and Southampton (far letters specially so addressed), and United Kingdom, via Marseilles and Brindisi, per s.s.
