L\ND SALE. Thebe was yesterday a sale of Waikato lands, at the Waikato Office, Shortland-street. Fiftyfour lots were offered for sale. Out of this number there were no bidders for 25 lots. The remaining 29 lots were sold for £703 17s. 6d. There was a keen competition for lots 3 and 5, Patumahoe, containing 20 acres, were ultimately purchased by Henry Aspden, for £81; also for lot 23, Waioka, containing 15 acres 1 rood 16 perches, which was purchased by H. Selfe, for £44. The pther lots were in most cases sold at the upßet price.
