New Zealand flax is in good demand. 2000 bales were offered, and 1000 sold freely at previous rates. The remainder was bought in for higher prices. Tow and common, partly cleaned, brings £13 to £15 10s ; and superior, £32 103 to £35. 449 bales were sold at this price.
