We understand that tho English telegrams via Suez were received at the South on the 24th instant. In consequence of tho telegraphic wires being down between Napier and Taupo, we have not received our telegrams. Captain Fairchild of the p.s. Luna, kindly waited at Tauranga for several hours, but the breakage in the line had not beon completed when he left on Tuesday evening. We may possibly receive them to-day via the Thames.
