The minutes of the P«^ meeting having been read and confirm the Secretary read several letters, jSlfB ing one from Messrs. L. D. jJfttT; and Co., stating that Messrs. Shaw, S»^ and Co., had sent their annual gift ; regatta—a silver cup—by the ship Caduce* The Secretaty was instructed to write Shaw, Saville and Co., thanking themfbrtKy very liberal donation. . r. The committee then arranged thepri^ the various events, particulars of wbic& ,| published in our advertising columns. ■|s The tender of Mr. R. Hale ofP»™ e\ caterer, waa accepted, also that of I McComish for a band.
