POET OF AUCKLAND

The fine ship Timaru hauled oil" from the wharf this morning. She has a full cargo, and ■will sail for London -with the fivst favourable "wind. Thes.s. Lord Ashley will leave'for Tauranga and Southern ports to-day, at 6 p.m. The s.B. Hero leaves for Sydney and Melbourne to-morrow. The p.s. Samson, Captain Mundle, arrived from Wangarei yesterday afternoon, bringing two passengers —Miss Bree, and Mr. Hall. She brings a small quantity of gum and settlers' produce. We regret to learn that this favourite steamer has been taken off the trade, in consequence of the small amount of support which she has received.
