THE THAMES.

THIS DAY. IMPOIITA.NT NATIVE NEWS.

Ngatiraukawas at Ohinemuri saythat the Maungatautari natives are awaiting pakehas to attack Todd's murderers. The Natives regard the Taupo road-making as a breach of the King's law prohibiting roads. Some pakehas or friendles, it is said, will be shot, if the Taupo works are continued. The Grovernment has received information to the above effect.
