Per ss. James Paterson, for Sydney: 58 bales flax, J. R. Roberts ; 2 boxes, H. Keesing ; 50 do. cornflour, L. D. Nathan.—H. M. Jervis, agent.
The schooner Spray, Captain Clarkson, arrived in harbour this morning from Lyttel--ton, bringing a full cargo of grain. She left Lyttelton on the Bth inst. The s.s. Wainui will leave for the Fijis at 5 o'clock.
The s.s. Hero will leave for Sydney on Tuesday next. The barque Novelty, Captain Nearing, •ailed from Sydney for this port on the evening of Sa'urday last, the 14th instant. The Janet Grey, schooner, Captain Keane, arrived in harbor yesterday evening from Fiji. The schooner was seven and-a-half days on the passage down to Levuka, thus making an excellent passage. Sailed for Auckland on the 4th instant, in b°llast. Had light southwest winds to the coast, and was five days beating up from the North Cape. Passengers —Mr. Bates and a seaman from the Dancing Wave, who is a lunatic, forwarded by order of the British Consul.
