Tucsdav afternoon,
Messrs. S. Jones held an extensive sale, today, of sugars imported from Mauritius, ex Annie Brown, especially for this market. There was a good attendance, and the following price 3 were realised : —White sugar (in bond), fr_>m 4d to 4d 3-16ths per lb.; brown ditto, 2|d to 4d.
Messrs. Lewis Brothers held a trade sale of boots and shoes to-day. There was a good attendance, fair prices were realised, and the bidding spirited.
