Note.—The rates of postage in New Zealand to be charged on correspondence to the United Kingdom, via Marsei les and Brindisi are asfollows:—Letters notexceeding half-an-ouncc, Is. 3d.; not exceeding one ounce, 2s. 6d. ; and so on, Is. 3d. for every a ditional half ounce, or fraction thereof. Newspapers under four ounces each, 4d. Books and pattern parcels not exceeding one ounce, 21. j not exceeding two ounces, 4d. ; not exceeding four ounces, 7d.; not exceeding eight ounces, Is. 2d. ; and so on, la. 2d. for every additional eight ounces &r fraction thereof.
