The b.s. Wainui will leave for the Fiji* on Thursday next. The s.s. Go-ahead will leave the wharf tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon for Napier at 4 o'clock, going inside the Iron Pot. The s.s. Go-Ahead Arrived from Russell and the West Coast yesterday, with 38 ton* bones, S. H. Smith, 301 boxes gum, L. D. Nathan and Co.

The Wainui, a useful little steamer, in command of our old friend Captain Gay, formerly of the barque Eliza Shairp, arrived in harbour on Saturdny evening, from Dunedin, bringing papers to the 7th inst. It, is intended to run the Wainui between Dunedin and the Fiji's, calling at Auckland for passengers and cargo, and she will leave this port, on her first trip, on Thursday next. The Wainui is a screw steamer of 87 tons register, and left Dunedin •n the 7th inst., with light S.W. winds, which continued for 24 hours ; thence light N.E. winds for 24 hours, which was followed by a severe gale from the same quarter ; passed the East, Cape on Friday, and had fine weather and light winds since. Passengers—Mrs. Ross and four children, Mr. F. Woodstock, Mr. Elder, Mr. McDougall, Mrs. Barker, and Mr. Morton. Messrs. Cruickshank, Smart and Co. aro agents for the vessel.
