ARRIVAL OF THE HERALD.

The clipper schooner Herald, Captain MeKenzie,* arrived in harbour from Poverty Bay lust night, bringing a cargo of grass seed and three j_assenger3. She sailed from Poverty Bay on Wednesday last, and called at Tokamaru on the same day. Encountered a strong southerly gale, and anchored in Kawakawa roads same night. On the following morning landed some cargo, and left at noon on Thursday with a fresh S.E. breeze, and fine weather. Passed the s.s. Taranaki hence at eleven o'clock on Thursday, off Kawakawa.
