SUDDEN DEATH.

An old man named McDonald, formerly a soldier in the 05th Regiment, was found dead in his bed, in a house off Chancery Lane, yesferilay morning. The deceased was for some time an inmate of the Old Men's Eefuge, where he was attended by Dr. Philson, as he was suffering from consumption. When he went to bed on Thursday evening lie appeared to ail nothing more than usual. Dr. Philson, knowing the man and (lie complaint, under which he laboured, gave a certificate as to the manner of hi. death, so that no inquest will be held.
