ELECTION NOTICES.
The following notices are given in refereuce to the forthcoming elections. H. R. Aubrey, Esq., Returning Officer for the electoral district of Marsden, gives notice that the nomination of candidates to represent that district in the House of Representatives will take place at Wangarei on the 23rd instant, and the poll, if necessary, on the 30th instant.— Colonel Balneavis gives notice that the nomi nation for Parnell wi'l take place on the 20th instant, and the poll, if necessary, on the 23rd instant; that the nomination of candidates for Waitemata will take place at the North Shore on the 24th instant, aud the poll, if necessary, on the Bth of February ; that the nomination of candidates for Newton will take place on the 25th inst., and the poll, if necessary, on the 28th instant; that the nomination for City East will take place on the 30th inst., and the poll on the 2nd February ; and the nomination for City West will take place on the 3rd February, and the poll on the 6th February. James Naaghton, Esq., Returning Officer, gives notice that the nomination for Onehunga will take place on the 20th inst., and the poll on the 24th inst. ; that the nomination for Eden will take place on the 26th inst., and the poll on the 31st inst.; and the nomination for Franklin will take place at the Public Hall, Otahuhu, on the 23rd inst., and the poll on the 7th February.
