For Mahurangi, Craigieburn, Warkworth, Kaipara Flats, Port Albert, and Wharehine, per Lady Bowen, to-morrow at 9 a.m. Mails for the undermentioned places per s.s. City of Melbourne will close at this office, to-morrow, 7th inst., as follows : —For Sandwich Islands, British Columbia, United States of America, British, Central "and South America, British and Foreign West Indies, and Continent of Europe, via England at B'p.m. For United Kingdom via San Francisco at 8 p.m. For money orders Registered letters and newspapers at 5 p.m. Late letters for United States of America, and United Kingdom, bearing a late fee of sixpence in addition to tho postage, will be received by the Mail Agent on board tho steamer up to time of sailing. For Wangarei, &c, per Samson, to-morrow, at 5 p.m. For Kapanga, Driving Creek, and Tiki, per Challenger, on Monday, 9th inst., at 11.30 a.m.

For Napier and the Southern Provinces, per s.s. Taranaki, on Monday, 9th inst., at 2 p.m. Late letters and telegrams for trans mission from the Napier station will be received till 2.30 p.m. Por Taranaki and the Southern Provinces, per s.s. Airedale, on Tuesday, 10th inst., at 10 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Nelson station will be received at this office till 10.30, and at Onehunga till 11.30 a.m. Note.—-Closed mailu for letters and telegrams will be made up at this office daily for Tauranga, ov»rland via Tham is. Hours will be notified.
