The Pjunce Alpiujd.—During the latter part of this month this battery has been pretty well employed, and, as will be seen, the average yield per ton is very good, considering that the lots put through have been heavy ones, 497 tons yielding 49G ozs. G dwts. 6 grs. retorted gold. Kueanui Company has put through their mill 1174. tons, giving 1989 ozs. 10 dwts., which, it will be seen, is far below the usual average ; this is mainly owing to their own stuff being so poor. Moanataibi Company. — This company, during the month, have crushed little stone, b.ut what has been done shows a very great improvement upon preceding months ; 3G2f tons, gave 634 ozs. 16 dwts. 12 grs. retorted gold, exclusive of the Point Russell, the manager not weighing the gold of the latter.

Union Bank op Australia.—The manager of this bank, Mr. Grant, forwarded per the Royal Alfred, to your city, boxes containing 5500 oxs. of gold. Bank of Australasia.—The manager of this bank, Mr. Partridge, is also making a shipment of gold by the same steamer as the abore. The boxes contain 5100 ozs.
