PROVINCIAL COUNCIL.

Vabious petitions were last night presented, and questions answered, in the Provincial Council; and a large portion of the time was occupied in dealing with the Estimates, with which great progress was made. The Licensing Bill was considered in committee, and the Council adjourned on a count out at 11 o'clock.
