Wednesday afternoon,

Messrs. S. Cochrane and Son held a sale at their auction mart this day, and sold a double break drag, £12; saddles, from £2 2s 6d to £2 18s ;.sets of harness, from £3 to £5 Is.

Mr. Or. W. Binney held a sale, of oats, &c, at his auction-mart to-day; the following •were the prices realised: —oats 3a 2d per bushel; pearl barley, £28 per ton; flour, (silk-dressed), £13 5s per ton ; Meek's flour, £15 7s 6d per ton ; wheat, 63 3d per bushel; sharps, Is per bushel; hams, B£d per lb; biscuits, 17s per 100 lbs. Messrs. Arthur and Son held a sale at their auction mart, Queen-street, this day. There was a good attendance, and the following prices realised : —Potatoes, 5s per cwt.; bacon, 5d to 6id per lb.; Auckland butter, 7Jd per lb.; onions, 3£d per lb. ; Wairoa cheese, 6d.

Messrs. B. Tonks and Co. held a sale, at their auction mart, Queen-street, this day. There wa3 a fair attendance. French wines (duty paid), 25s to 45s per dozen. The port and sherry did- not realize what was expected.
