ALAEMING NEWS
THE KING- NATIVES ARMING.
Notwithstanding, the assurances we have had that Tawhiao repudiated the conduct of the murderers of Mr. Todd, we are sorry, to say that intelligence is just to hand that all the natives around Tokangamutu are under arms, and in a slate.of much excitement, owing to the success attending the murderers at Pirongia. These passed Otoarahauga yesterday morning, and Bewi and the chiefs of the Ngatimaniapoto have started for Wanganui.
