AN adjourned meeting of the City Board was held to-day, at noon.—The minutes of last meeting were rcad.-rThe monthly accounts were read, and passed.—Mr. Staines moved, and Mr. Bugden seconded, the motion standing in his name for the removal of the earth off the footpath on the east side of Upper Queen-street. —Mr. Atkin, in opposing the motion, showed that the ground alluded to was private property. Messrs. George and Hampton also opposed the motion. It was lost on the voices.—Mr. Sceats, according to notice, moved as follows:—" That die Inspector of Nuisances be instructed to give notice to Mr. Staines to remove certain property off the pathway in Upper Queen-street within twentyfour hours. That, failing to do so, Mr, Young be requested to lay an information against him, and compel him to do so." In speaking to the resolution, the mover related the action taken by the Inspector with reference to Mr. Cosgrave, and the barbers, and urged that steps should at once be taken.
