THE ORPHEUS MINSTRELS.
The entertainment given last night at the Music Hall by this company of amateurs for the benefit of the hospital, suffered severely from the inclemency of the weather. Every preparation had been made both in the building and on the part of the performers to render it a success and it is to be regretted that the severity of the evening prevented what would doubtless otherwise have been a crowded house. The songs, and every part of the programme was well and spiritedly and pleasingly gone through, and we trust that at the next entertainment to be given, which we understand will be shortly, the public will greet the minstrels with a bumper house.
