FATAL ACCIDENT AT THE NORTH SHORE.
A WOMAN & CHILD DKOWNED.
"We regret to learn-that this forenoon, as Mrs. Nicholson and her grandson were crossing a plank over Ireland's Creek, close to the College, they unfortunately fell in, and were both drowned. The body of the child has been found attached to a mangrove, but the body of Mrs. Nicholson, who was one of the oldest settlers in New Zealand, has not yet been discovered.
