AUCKLAND REGATTA, 1871.

A gtcnerai. meeting or the members oi the Auckland, Regatta Club .was held at the Clubroom, I Thames' Hotel, last evening, for the purpose of electing a committee, and making preliminary aiTarigements for the Annual Regatta of 1871. T-here was a fair attendauce.—The minutes of the,last meeting having been, read and confirmed, the Treasurer's balance-sheet was laid on the taole, which 6hpwed that"there was a sum of £31 Bs. 6d. in the Bank, to the credit of the Club.—lt was propqsed by Mr. D. Cruickshank, beconded by Mr, G-. Henderson, and icarriad, that the following gentlemen be re-elected as a committee to carry out the . regatta : —Mr. G.
