THE ORPHEUS MINSTRELS.

This company of minstrels, which is an offshoot of the favorite Auckland Ethiopian Troupe, to whose efforts the public are indebted for some very pleasant evening's, will make their debut before an Auckland audience to-morrow night at the Symonds-stroet Music Hall. The proceeds are to be for the benefit of the Provincial Hospital, and the performance is under the patronage of his Excellency Sir G-eorge Bowen, and Lady Bowen, and of his Honor the Superintendent. From what we know of the ability of the members and the state of preparation to which the company has attained, we have no doubt that the entertainment will be a very successful one. The charitable object of itself, irrespective of the merits of the performance, will, we are sure, appeal to the kind feelings of the public.
