ARRIVAL OF THE KEERA.
The fine 'cattle steamer Keera arrived in harbour early this morning, with a cargo of i 1,100 sheep, shipped, by .Messrs. Watt Eros., and consigned to ifessrs. Carey and Gilles. The Kcera loft Napier at 10.30 a.m. on the 17th instant, with a strong increasing breeze from S.E., and cloudy ; 4..30 p.m. rounded Portland Island,; 8 p.m., thick, dirty weather, with rain. Cauie to anchor at the Mahia Peninsula. 18th, blowing very'lieavy from S.andE., accompanied with furious white squally at noon, more moderate, shifted close in shore, f co.mmenced to tai<e, in stock ; on the 19th, j at 11 wax., fished Joading, nii'i got underway j at 2' p:m. passed Gable End light, S.S.E. breeze'; at 11.30 p.m. rounded th« East Cape; on the 20th, at 8 a.m., White Island, south, 10 miles,, light head winds ; on; the 21st, at 3 a.m., passed Cape Colville ; at 8 a.m., made fast alongside of the breakwater. The whole of the stock was landed in good condition. Passengers—Saloon : Mr. Gilles and Walker.
