ARRIVAL OF THE TARANAKI.
The s.s. Taranaki, E. Wheeler, Commander, arrived in the Manukau early this morning. She- left Port Chalmers at 1.30 p.m., 11th November, Arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m., on 12th j's-left Lyttelton at 3 p.m. on 13th. Arrived at 1 p.m. on 14th ; left Wellington at 2.30 p.m. on 15th. Arrived at Picton at 9 p.m. on loth ; left Picton at 4 a.m. on 16th. Arrived at Nelson at 1 p.m on 16th; left Nelson at 3.30 p.m. on 17th. Arrived at Taranaki at 8 am. on 18th; left Taranaki at 3 p.m. on 18th. . Arrived at Onehunga at 6 a.m. on 19th. Having experienced fine weather with light winds throughout the pas_age. Towed the three-masted schooner Lady Bird to sea from Wellington. Passengebs.—Saloon—Mr. and Miss Matson, Mr. and Mrs. Burne, Mr. and Mrs. Burgess, Mrs. Wheeler, Mrs. Stephenson, Mrs. Watson, Mi>. and Mrs. Smith ; Messrs. Kohn, Jones, McKenzie, 'Forbach, Wilson, Palmer, Crombie, Donald, A. Strange, Ellis, Green, Crump, Nasmith, Davis, Capt. Stack, and 13 in the steerage.
