DISTRICT COURT.—TUESDAY.

[Before Thomas Beckham, Esq., District Judge.] Tira Court resumed its sitting at half-past 10 o'clock this morning. T. B. Gillies v. Alburnia Gold Mining Company.—Claim, for work done on the Moanatairi tramway. —Mr. Lusk for the plaintiff, Mr. F. Whitaker for the defendant, —The case broke down in consequence of the non-production of certain books. A nonsuit was accepted by Mr. Lusk. The- costs amounted to £15 2s. Same v. Flying- Cloud.—The claim was for work of a similar nature. A nonsuit was abo accepted in this case, as the same difficulty arose. This was all the business.
