TARANAKI.
November 10.—The telegraph between Wanganui and Taranaisi is to be commenced forthwith. —Tamati Terito held a meeting here last week. Two hundred natives were present. Tho result of the meeting was favourable. Tamati says fighting is at an end. —The Provincial Council lias adjourned for a fortnight, because the members refused to do any business until the Superintendent takes his seat in the Council.
