PRINCE UP WALES' BIRTHDAY.
On Wednesday next His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales enters on his thirieth year, and to celebrate that event the good people of Auckland, ns loyal subjects, have determined to lay aside for that d»y all care and tronble. and give themselves up to that enjnyirent which they, as a community, have never failed yet to carry out. In order to facilitate the view* of the public, we observe that the managers and proprietors of our several coasting steamers have taken time by the forelock, and are now ['advertising as fol ows : —The Williams will mnke an excursion trip at 9.30 a.m. for the Hot Springs, and the Puke of Rilinburgh for the Kawnu at, the same hour. We have no doubt that should the weather prove fine, that numbers of our citizens will avail themselves of theffl opportunities of giving their jwives and families a tiW»t, in visiiing these charmi'jg localities.
