Grahamstown, 3 p.m,
ALEXnNDEB Wilson, a miner employed at the Sunbeam claim, Tararu, has been severely in jured by the fall of a bucket. The Peep o' Day, Coromandel, have obtained 72 ozs.from 30 tons stone.
The Poverty claim, on the Tokatea range, has struck splendid gold. Twelve new claims have been registered this week at Coromandel.
A large memorial is to be presented for the retention of gaoler Foster. A requisition is being numerously signed, asking Mr. Mackay to stand for the vacant seat in the Provincial Council.
