Wednesday afternoon. Messrs. S Cochrane and .so\\ held a sale of landed property at their mart, to-day. The following is a list of the properties sold : -' To-roomed house, Hobson-street, together ■with the allotment, having a frontage of twenty-five feet, for the sum of £310 ; fiftr acres, at Hamilton East, brought 5s 6d per acre; town allotment, at West Hamilton ■with small cottage erected thereon, fetched £8 10s ; and forty acres., parish Maungakaramta, £3 10a. : "-
Mr. GL W. Binney reports having sold by auction at his mart to-rlay, ex late arrivals from the South:—Wheat, from 3s lid to 5s lid ; Wilson flour, 12s to 17s 6d. The remainder of the grain offered was withdrawn. The same firm quitted sulinna raisirs at 6|d ; new currants, 6I ; Keillor's lemon-peel, Is 8, d.; Colman's mustard, B£d to lld per lb.; vestas, 7d"; arrowroot, 5d per lb.; oranges, from 9s to 9s 6d ; and lemons, irom 5s to 7s.
A farm of 460 acres, in the parish of .Pakiri, was sold this morning, by Mr. S. Jones, for the sum of £40.
Messrs. C. Arthur and Son sold at auction this morning a quantity of fruit from Svduey, by the Auckland, as follows : — Oranges, 10s 9d to 11s; apples, 3|d to Sid; lemons, 3s 6d per case.
