We beg to intimate to residents at the Whau, and along the line of road leading to that district, that by arrangement with Mr. Pbipps, the Evening- Stab will be forwarded daily to subscribers by his 'bus leaving the city at 4 p.m. Mr. Phipps has also been appointed agent for the Star, and will re ceive advertisements and subscriptions for this paper. We beg to intimate to intending subscribers that the new quarter having con menced persons so desirous can secure the punctual delivery of the Star by forwarding their names as subscribers to this office. Sub scription, ss. 6d. per quarter, in advance ; or Gs. Gd. if booked.
