The brigs Nil Desperandum and Wave cleared at the Customs to-day for Newcastle, and will sail early to-morrow. , The Bessie, from Waikawau, brings 19.80U feet of timber. . , The Tawera, from Poverty Bay, brings the following cargo: 8 hides, Ireland Bros; 57 bales wool 2i do., 4 casks tallow, 1 side bacon, L D. Natban and Co; 33 casks pork, 7 pkgs. tallow, 103 bags maize, J. S. Macfarhme ; 36 bags maize, Owen and Graham ; 27 do., 2 do. wheat, 1 side bacon, Peachy.—J. S. Macfarlane, agent. _ . , The schooner Tauranga arrived in harbour this morning, with 12 passengers and a few pkgs. sundries. The Tauranga leaves again to-morrow evening. The s.s. St. Kilda leaves the Manukau lor Wanganui, at 9 a.m. to-morrow." The s.s. Keera leaves the wharf for Napier, this evening. The cargo of wool by the Tawera will be transhipped into the Excelsior, for London. The cutter Mary Eliza sails for Tauranga to-movrcw evening. . 3he s.s. Lord Ashley arrived at Napier on the 20th instant, after a capital passage from this port. . . Tbe s s. Phcebe, with the Cahfornian mail, arrived at Nelson at 12 o'clock on Wednesday last, after a good run from the Manukau. The str-amer Lyttelton arrived at Wanganui, from Kelson, on the 18th instant; and the Storm Bird and "St. Kilda, from the Manukau, on tbe following day. The Storm Bird arrived at Wellington on the 20t,h. The new steamer on the stocks at the North Shore, for the Napier and Poverty Bay trade, will be launched during the week, and, it is expected, will be ready to leave for Napier about the 12th prox.
