REQUISITION TO HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT.
We have just been informed by the gentlemen most actively engaged in getting up the requisition to Mr. Gillies that it already bears three hundred signatures, including almost all the most influential electors of the district, and that the utn.ost cheerfulness, and at times enthusiasm, attended their reception during the canvas. We still trust that Mr. Williamson will, in kindness to himself, be withdrawn by his advisers, as there is a certainty of Mr. Gillies' return against any candidate, 'the requisition will be presented to the Superintendent to-morrow forenoon at eleven o'clock.
