The Diocesan Synod fov 1870 will commence its sitting at the Bishop's library on Monday, aifternoon next. JsTotice has been issued to that effect to those of the clergyman and laity connected, with the Synod. Divine ser.vioe will tike place ftt Sfi. Mary's Church at eleven o'clock, when the Synod will be opened by ;tho administration of the Jloly Communion, and the members will meet-for the deapatch^of b'tuiness in the oathc-divd. library.at two o'clock oh. the same day.'
