MINEBS' EIGHTH—MEETING AT THE GOVEBNOB BOWEtf. RICH SPECIMENS FEOM COROMANDEL. A CHILD KILLED. ORAnAMSTOWN, 3 p.m. [from ottr own correspondent.] A lauge meeting was held at the Governor Bowen Hotel last evening on the miners' right question. The following gentlemen took part at fhe meeting:— Messrs. Shapter, Graham, Mitchell, and fc-wan. A committee was appointed. Mr. Collet's child was killed yesterday by a cart wheel passing over it at Tararu. The Little Wonder and Eoyal Oat, at, Coromandel, have some maguificer.t specimens, superior to anything before seen on the Thames.
